We need a Qualified Psychologist who’s passionate about helping people with a range of complex mental health needs.

Joining our team on a part time basis, you will be working 30 hours per week, across 4 days.

Cygnet Gledholt:

Gledholt is an enhanced community residential service providing outcome focused support for adults with learning disabilities, who may have behaviours that challenge and associated complex needs.

Your day\-to\-day…

• Carry out psychological assessments \& provide therapy to individuals \& groups


• Work systemically with staff, as well as directly with service users


• Consult with staff, families \& other agencies about the psychological care of the client group


• Offer psychological insight \& knowledge to the multidisciplinary team


• Support the clinical, nursing \& direct care teams in making skilled evaluations \& decisions about risk


• Evaluate the service, contribute to its development \& carry out clinical research.

• An experienced Psychologist, ideally with an adult mental health client group


• Experienced in working as part of a multidisciplinary team


• Knowledgeable of mental health legislation, risk assessment \& risk management principles


• Preferably trained in complex therapies such as Schema focused, Cognitive Analytical \& DBT


• Passionate about working with people with a range of complex mental health needs


• Capable of treating difficulties such as self\-harm, physical \& verbal aggression, history of sexual offending \& drug \& alcohol problems


• An excellent communicator.

• Salary: Up to £41,600pa DOE
