Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Qualified or Part\-qualified Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. Only applicants with chairside and surgery experience will be considered. The successful candidate will support the delivery of high\-quality patient care, assist the dental team with clinical and administrative duties, and ensure a smooth operation of daily practice activities. Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during clinical procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
- Provide patients with pre\- and post\-treatment advice, ensuring clear communication in English
- Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems and manage appointment schedules efficiently
- Support administrative tasks such as reception duties, answering queries, and managing correspondence
- Ensure the practice environment remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards
- Foster excellent communication with patients, colleagues, and external healthcare providers
- Uphold patient confidentiality at all times while delivering compassionate care
- recognised qualification as a Dental Nurse or currently undertaking a recognised training programme (part\-qualified) with surgery experience
- Proven experience in patient care within a dental setting is desirable but not essential for entry\-level candidates willing to learn
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Basic IT skills to manage patient records and appointment scheduling
- Knowledge of infection control procedures and dental practice protocols
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a caring approach towards patients and team members
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Pay: £12\.71\-£15\.00 per hour
