Qualified or part-qualified Dental Nurse

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Qualified or Part\-qualified Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. Only applicants with chairside and surgery experience will be considered. Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during clinical procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety


• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise instruments in accordance with infection control protocols


• Provide patients with pre\- and post\-treatment advice, ensuring clear communication in English


• Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems and manage appointment schedules efficiently


• Support administrative tasks such as reception duties, answering queries, and managing correspondence


• Ensure the practice environment remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards


• Foster excellent communication with patients, colleagues, and external healthcare providers


• Uphold patient confidentiality at all times while delivering compassionate care

Requirements

• recognised qualification as a Dental Nurse or currently undertaking a recognised training programme (part\-qualified) with surgery experience


• Proven experience in patient care within a dental setting is desirable but not essential for entry\-level candidates willing to learn


• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal


• Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively


• Basic IT skills to manage patient records and appointment scheduling


• Knowledge of infection control procedures and dental practice protocols


• Excellent interpersonal skills with a caring approach towards patients and team members


• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
