The Role
We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and highly motivated Qualified Dental Nurse with Implant experience (or willing to train) to provide premium clinical support. You will work closely alongside our Implant Surgeon to ensure seamless surgical procedures, and exceptional patient care. This role is part\-time to include Tuesday willing to consider full time for right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Surgical Assisting: Provide advanced chairside support during complex implant placements, sinus lifts, bone grafts.
- Aseptic Technique: Maintain rigid cross\-infection controls and prepare sterile surgical fields, implant kits, and specialised instrumentation.
- Phlebotomy \& PRF: Perform venepuncture to draw patient blood for PRF (Platelet\-Rich Fibrin) processing to assist with surgical healing.
- Clinical Imaging: Take high\-quality dental radiographs and CBCT scans as prescribed by the clinician (if qualified).
- Patient Journey Support: Guide patients through their surgical journey, providing reassuring pre\-operative support and clear post\-operative care instructions.
- GDC Registration: Must be a fully qualified, GDC\-registered Dental Nurse.
- Implant Experience: Proven experience in implantology or oral surgery is highly desirable.
- BDA or NEBDN Certificate in Dental Radiography (highly preferred for independent scanning).
- Certified qualification in Phlebotomy / Venepuncture for PRF/PRP therapy.
- An NEBDN post\-registration certificate in Dental Implant Nursing or Conscious Sedation is a distinct advantage.
Exceptional communication skills, a calm demeanor under surgical conditions, and a strong work ethic.
