Qualified Dental Nurse/Receptionist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Qualified Dental Nurse/Receptionist to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, supporting the dental team, and managing front desk duties. Duties

• Deliver high\-quality patient care before, during, and after dental procedures


• Assist dentists during examinations and treatments, ensuring patient comfort and safety


• Manage appointment scheduling, patient records, and administrative tasks using IT systems


• Greet patients warmly, answer queries, and provide clear communication regarding treatments and procedures


• Maintain a clean and organised reception area in accordance with health and safety standards


• Handle telephone enquiries professionally and efficiently


• Support with sterilisation of dental instruments and preparation of treatment rooms


• Ensure compliance with all relevant health regulations and practice policies

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification as a Dental Nurse or equivalent


• Proven experience in patient care within a dental or healthcare setting


• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written


• Strong IT skills, including familiarity with dental practice management software


• Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively


• Good understanding of nursing principles relevant to dental care


• Exceptional interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and team members


• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: £13\.92\-£15\.58 per hour
