Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high\-quality patient care and supporting the dental team in delivering effective treatments. As a Dental Nurse, you will be responsible for assisting dentists during procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a well\-organised clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and various dental procedures.
- Prepare and sterilise instruments and equipment before and after use.
- Ensure that the treatment room is clean, tidy, and well\-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and provide reassurance.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules using IT systems.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols.
- Provide post\-operative care instructions to patients as directed by the dentist.
- Support the dental team in administrative tasks as required.
- Reception duties
- Proficient in English with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Previous experience as a nurse or in a healthcare setting is advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy environment.
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Familiarity with IT systems used in dental practices is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided.
Pay: £15\.50\-£16\.00 per hour
