Qualified Dental Nurse – Full Time

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and professional Qualified Dental Nurse to join our established team at Harpenden Dental Centre.

We are a busy, modern dental practice providing high\-quality general dentistry alongside specialist and advanced dental care. We have a friendly and supportive team and are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys providing an excellent experience for patients.

Hours

44 paid hours per week

• Monday–Thursday: 8:00am–5:30pm


• Friday: 8:00am–4:30pm


• 30\-minute unpaid lunch break each day


• No weekend working

Salary

£14\.00–£16\.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Equivalent to approximately £32,032–£36,608 per year based on 44 paid hours per week.

The role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Chairside dental nursing


• Preparing surgeries, instruments and materials


• Maintaining excellent cross\-infection control and decontamination standards


• Supporting clinicians during a range of dental procedures


• Maintaining accurate clinical records


• Helping patients feel comfortable and well cared for


• Working closely with our clinical and reception teams to keep the practice running smoothly

As we provide general dentistry alongside specialist and advanced treatments, the position offers the opportunity to work with a range of clinicians and develop your experience across different areas of dentistry.

We are looking for someone who is:

• GDC registered as a Dental Nurse


• Friendly, caring and confident with patients


• Reliable and punctual


• Well organised with good attention to detail


• Professional in their communication and approach


• Comfortable working as part of a team


• Committed to maintaining high clinical and cross\-infection standards

Previous experience is welcome, although attitude, reliability and being a good fit with our team are particularly important to us.
