Qualified Dental Nurse

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Qualified Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental team at BPI Dental. We are a private referral centre offering a wide range of dental services. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care, assist dentists during procedures, and ensure the smooth operation of the dental practice. Your expertise in nursing, excellent communication skills, and organizational abilities will contribute to creating a welcoming environment where patients feel cared for and confident in their treatment. This is a full time position.

Duties

• Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared and sterilized efficiently


• Provide compassionate patient care by explaining treatments, answering questions, and offering reassurance throughout appointments


• Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, including treatment notes and medical histories


• Support infection control protocols by sterilizing equipment and maintaining a clean clinical environment


• Manage appointment scheduling, patient correspondence, and administrative tasks to ensure the practice runs smoothly


• Communicate clearly with patients in English, providing instructions for post\-treatment care and oral hygiene advice


• Collaborate with team members to ensure high standards of patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality

Qualifications

• Recognized qualification as a Dental Nurse from an accredited program or institution


• Proven experience in patient care within a dental or healthcare setting


• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written


• Proficiency with IT systems used for record keeping and appointment management


• Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast\-paced environment


• Knowledge of nursing principles applied within dental practice settings


• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail

Pay: £13\.50\-£14\.00 per hour
