Location: Guildford
Hours: Monday (09:00–18:00\), Tuesday to Friday (09:00–17:00\)
Salary: £14\.00 – £17\.00 / hour (dependent on experience)
About Us
We are a dedicated dental practice specializing in Oral Surgery and Dental Implants, alongside general dentistry and hygiene services. Our supportive team is looking for a qualified, organized, and reliable Head Dental Nurse to join us on a permanent, full\-time basis as our current nurse leaves to pursue a degree in Dental Hygiene.
Key Responsibilities

• Clinical \& Chairside Care: Provide skilled chairside support across oral surgery, implantology, and general dentistry procedures.


• Practice Support: Assist with clinical governance, stock management, and maintaining efficient daily surgery workflows.


• Decontamination: Participate in the practice decontamination room rotation, ensuring strict adherence to infection control standards.


• Front of House: Handle administrative, reception, and telephone duties as needed to support the front desk.


• Patient Care: Put patients at ease, deliver clear pre\- and post\-operative instructions, and keep accurate clinical notes.

• GDC Registration: Qualified Dental Nurse with active GDC registration and indemnity cover.


• Surgical Experience: Experience and competence in oral surgery and implant nursing.


• Leadership \& Organization: Clear communication, leadership initiative, and strong multitasking abilities.


• Compliance: Up\-to\-date knowledge of HTM 01\-05 decontamination guidelines, CQC standards, and emergency procedures.

• Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
