Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified and Trainee Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their career in dental nursing, whether they are fully qualified or in the process of training. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high\-quality patient care, supporting dental procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the practice. Responsibilities

  • Assisting dentists during a variety of dental procedures with precision and care

  • Preparing treatment rooms, sterilising instruments, and ensuring all equipment is maintained to high standards

  • Providing excellent patient care, including explaining procedures and offering reassurance

  • Managing patient records accurately using IT systems and maintaining organisational standards

  • Supporting patients through the appointment process, including scheduling and post\-treatment advice

  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations within the practice

  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming environment for all patients and staff
Experience
  • Previous experience in patient care or healthcare settings is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for trainees

  • Good command of English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with patients and team members

  • Basic IT skills for managing patient records and practice administration

  • Strong communication skills to build rapport with patients and colleagues

  • Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment

  • For qualified candidates: recognised dental nursing qualification or registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) is preferred but not mandatory for trainees who are actively working towards certification
This role provides valuable hands\-on experience in dental nursing within a supportive team environment. Candidates should demonstrate professionalism, organisational ability, and a genuine interest in patient care to succeed in this rewarding position.

Pay: £12\.21\-£14\.50 per hour
