Role Overview

We are seeking a detail\-oriented and proactive QA Tester to join our development team and help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our digital products and internal
systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem\-solving, has a strong eye for detail, and takes pride in delivering software that works seamlessly for users.

You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify
issues early, improve testing processes, and support the delivery of high\-quality releases across web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new features,bug fixes, and system enhancements.

  • Perform manual testing across web applications, internal tools, APIs, and integrationsto ensure functionality meets requirements.

  • Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to clarify requirements andensure test coverage is aligned with acceptance criteria.

  • Identify, document, and track bugs using tools such as Jira \& monday.com, ensuringclear reproduction steps and supporting evidence are provided.

  • Validate fixes through retesting and regression testing to confirm issues are fullyresolved and no new issues are introduced.

  • Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by assisting business users with test executionand defect logging where required.

  • Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues beyond definedtest scenarios.

  • Support release cycles by providing QA sign\-off and contributing to release readiness

  • discussions.

  • Assist in improving quality practices by suggesting enhancements to testing workflows, documentation, and tooling.

  • Where applicable, contribute to automation testing efforts and collaborate with engineers to expand automated test coverage.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a QA Tester / Software Tester in a development environment.

  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and the QA role within Agile teams.

  • Experience creating structured test documentation including test cases, test plans, and defect reports.

  • Confident using bug tracking tools such as Monday.com, Jira, or similar.

  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to spot issues in logic, usability, workflows, and edge cases.

  • Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non\-technical stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with testing across: Web applications (desktop and mobile browsers)Internal systems / back\-office tools APIs and integrations (Postman or similar tools)

  • Basic understanding of SQL and databases is beneficial for validating data and investigating issues.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar.

  • Understanding of E\-Commerce, Warehouse \& Sales based system infrastructures.

  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and continuous testing practices.

  • Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6\) or concepts such as load, stress, and scalability testing.

  • Understanding of API testing, authentication methods (OAuth2/JWT), and JSON/XML payload validation.

  • Exposure to ecommerce platforms, payment systems, logistics/warehouse systems, or ERP integrations.

  • ISTQB certification (or similar) is a plus but not essential.

Pay: £28,684\.03\-£37,661\.31 per year
