About RHAELM
RHAELM is the sovereign AI cloud built to accelerate secure AI deployment at scale, combining power and infrastructure pipelines with global capability and local, in\-country operations. Headquartered in London, with deployments across Europe and APAC, we deliver ring\-fenced compute, networking, and storage infrastructure alongside a sovereign platform and flexible Bare Metal, Kubernetes, and AI\-as\-a\-Service models. Focused on regulated and mission\-critical sectors including Government, Defence, Healthcare, and Financial Services, we give organisations sovereign control over their AI infrastructure, platform, and data.
This Role
You will run named pursuits end to end — from qualification through bid, term sheet and letter of intent, to a signed offtake agreement. You will pull the answer together across the business: site control and consent, capacity and power, basis of design, delivery partners, long\-lead equipment and the integrated schedule, into a single evidenced submission, while structuring commercial terms alongside Strategy and Capital Markets.
You will hold the counterparty relationship throughout the pursuit and hold what's offered against what delivery can meet, so what's sold is what can be built.
Key Responsibilities
- Own named pursuits from qualification through to signed offtake, including the pursuit plan, bid schedule and internal approvals behind each gate
- Assemble the submission across functions — site control, capacity and MW ramp, basis of design, long\-lead equipment — into one evidenced position
- Structure commercial terms with Strategy and Capital Markets: term, capacity ramp, prepayment, take\-or\-pay, indexation and power pass\-through
- Reconcile committed density, ramp and ready\-for\-service dates against the build programme, raising early where a commitment can't be met
- Own the bid machinery — RFI/RFP responses, qualification packs, security and compliance evidence — and maintain a reusable library
- Run the counterparty relationship through the pursuit across procurement, technical, security and legal
- Evidence the in\-country regulatory position across RHAELM's markets, working with Governance
- Apply qualification discipline, recommending withdrawal where a pursuit can't be won or delivered on the terms available
- Maintain the pursuit playbook and deal templates so each pursuit is more repeatable than the last
- Report pipeline, conversion and pursuit risk to the SVP, Strategic Pursuits and executive leadership
- 10\+ years in complex infrastructure, energy or technology pursuits, including at least 4 years leading pursuits end to end as accountable owner
- Track record closing long\-dated capacity or offtake contracts, ideally take\-or\-pay, with prepayment and phased ready\-for\-service milestones
- Experience selling to regulated buyers in financial services, government, healthcare or defence
- Experience assembling a technical submission from specialist teams and being accountable for it in front of the counterparty
- Multi\-market experience, ideally including at least one Asia\-Pacific market
- Fluent in deal structure — term, ramp, prepayment, take\-or\-pay, indexation, pass\-through and service levels
- Able to read a basis of design and a build programme well enough to know what can be committed
- Able to write the submission, not just manage it
- Able to hold a position with the counterparty, and internally when the two don't agree
- Disciplined about qualification, and willing to recommend withdrawal
- Degree in business, engineering, legal or a technical discipline, or equivalent demonstrable experience
- Formal bid or proposal management credential (e.g. APMP) desirable
- Commercial contracting or negotiation training
- Working familiarity with at least one public procurement framework outside the UK
