Join OSM Thome as Pumpman on our Oil/Chemical Tanker fleet trading worldwide. Work with an experienced crew and take care of safe cargo and pump room operations.
Key responsibilities
- Operate, monitor and maintain cargo pumps and associated systems
- Assist in cargo loading, discharging and tank change\-overs
- Carry out routine cleaning and maintenance of pump room and pipelines
- Support the deck team during cargo operations and tank inspections
- Follow safety procedures and permit\-to\-work at all times
Requirements
- Previous sea experience as Pumpman on Oil/Chemical Tankers
- Good knowledge of cargo pumps, valves, lines and tank cleaning
- Valid STCW certificates and tanker endorsements as per rank
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
