Your Role

The Public Procurement Consultant acts as an intermediary and facilitator between the end client, their internal clients, and their various suppliers.

  • Define the most suitable acquisition strategy for the client's interests.

  • Translate purchasing needs into market solutions.

  • Support the drafting of functional requirements.

  • Manage the stages of the award procedure, in compliance with the legal framework.

  • Oversee supplier relations until contract execution to maximize performance.

  • Promote the public procurement culture and adherence to principles: equal treatment, competition, transparency, and proportionality.

Your Profile and Skills

1\. Profile


  • Minimum a Bachelor's degree with a legal, economic, commercial or technical orientation.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in public procurement and 5 years in purchasing.

  • In\-depth knowledge of public procurement legislation in classic and/or special sectors.

  • Perfect command of French, with a good knowledge of Dutch and/or English.

  • Desired proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Knowledge of SAP MM and 3P is a plus.
