We are seeking an Assistant Pub \& Hotel Manager to support the daily operations of our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for guest service, and proven experience in supervising teams within the hotel or hospitality industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a welcoming environment, ensuring exceptional service standards while assisting in the smooth running of the pub and hotel facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Hotel \& Pub Directors in overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of guest service and satisfaction.

  • Supervise and motivate team members across various departments, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

  • Assist with human resources functions, including recruitment, training, and performance management of staff.

  • Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and courtesy.

  • Coordinate reservations, check\-ins, and check\-outs efficiently while maintaining accurate records.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, licensing laws, and company policies.

  • Contribute to organising events or promotions to enhance guest engagement and revenue generation.

  • Support financial management tasks such as budgeting, stock control, and sales reporting as required.
Requirements
  • Proven supervisory experience within the hotel or hospitality sector.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.

  • Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.

  • Experience in human resources functions such as recruitment, training, or staff development is advantageous.

  • Previous hotel experience is preferred but not essential; a background in hospitality is essential.

  • Organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast\-paced environment.

  • A proactive approach to problem\-solving and decision\-making. This role offers an engaging environment where your leadership can make a tangible difference in delivering memorable guest experiences while supporting our team’s success.
Pay: £13\.00 per hour
