Care Worker

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to provide high\-quality support and assistance to individuals in need of care. The ideal candidate will have experience home care. This role involves working closely with clients to ensure their comfort, safety, and overall well\-being while promoting independence and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.


• Support clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation and medication administration.


• Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.


• Engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance their quality of life.


• Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behaviour to the appropriate professionals.


• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.


• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.

• Experience in assisted living, nursing home settings, or senior care is essential.


• Knowledge of patient care practices.


• Proficiency in first aid techniques and general caregiving skills.


• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively.


• Strong communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.


• Patience and empathy when supporting individuals with physical or cognitive challenges.


• Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and schedules.


• A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients.
