Pub Chef/kitchen manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to Join our busy team and deliver exceptional dining experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for food preparation, maintaining high standards of food safety and Hygiene and managing all kitchen operations efficiently. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate professional to showcase their skills in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to an established menu and presentation standards following spec.


• Work collaboratively alongside other kitchen staff, to ensure smooth operations


• Manage food production processes, ensuring timely delivery of orders


• Oversee food safety and hygiene practices in compliance with health regulations


• Coordinate with front\-of\-house teams to meet service requirements


• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock ordering and management


• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times.


• Willingness to attend training days and be compliant in completing all mandatory online training.

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management.


• Food Safety \& Hygiene level 2


• Extensive knowledge of food safety standards and procedures


• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail


• Ability to work under pressure in a fast\-paced setting


• Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and front\-of\-house staff


• Experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable


• Knowledge of food production techniques and culinary trends


• Ability to demonstrate professionalism and maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation

Pay: From £12\.71 per hour

Expected hours: 40\.0 per week
