Do you have the experience of working with partners to support work and learning opportunities for disadvantaged young people and adults and are you keen to help residents in our county thrive? If you do, then you may be the perfect fit for our Project Officer in the Employment and Skills team at East Sussex County Council.

As Project Officer, you’ll help bring employment and skills programmes to life, coordinating delivery, managing key information, and supporting strong partnerships. You’ll turn insight into action, ensuring projects run smoothly and make a meaningful, measurable impact.

You will support the coordination and development of employment and skills projects, ensuring they meet stakeholder needs and funding requirements. You will maintain project systems, documentation, and templates, acting as a central source of information, while identifying and managing risks in collaboration with stakeholders. The role involves acting as the main point of contact for enquiries, ensuring clear and professional communication, and contributing to stakeholder engagement and communication strategies. You will also monitor budgets, expenditure, and income, alongside researching, analysing and producing reports to support evidence\-based decision\-making.
