Project Manager Engineer (m/f/d)

We are looking for a highly motivated Project Manager Engineer to join our newly established Rapid Response Team (RRT) and Advanced Development (AD) organization within our Aerospace, Defense \& Marine business.

This is a unique opportunity to lead innovative engineering and technology development projects that directly impact our customers and future product portfolio. You will play a key role in accelerating innovation, driving rapid prototyping initiatives, and supporting the development of next\-generation technologies.

Working at the intersection of engineering, research, and customer solutions, you will lead cross\-functional teams to transform ideas into prototypes and enable faster delivery of innovative solutions to market.

Job Requirements

• Lead and deliver multiple engineering, technology development, and R\&D projects from concept through prototype delivery.


• Drive project execution by managing scope, timelines, resources, budgets, risks, and priorities.


• Enable rapid customer response and prototype development through agile project planning and execution.


• Partner closely with Engineering, Product Management, Commercial Teams, Procurement, and Supply Chain functions to ensure successful delivery.


• Establish clear project governance, reporting, and stakeholder communication.


• Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks while ensuring high\-quality outcomes.


• Support the evaluation and prioritization of new customer opportunities and technology initiatives.


• Drive continuous improvement and contribute to the development of efficient project management practices.


• Support the transition of successful research and development projects into formal product development programs.

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or another relevant technical discipline.


• Proven experience managing complex technical, engineering, product development, or R\&D projects.


• Strong project management expertise, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource management, and risk management.


• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence across multiple functions.


• Experience working in fast\-paced environments with competing priorities and ambitious delivery timelines.


• Strong problem\-solving, decision\-making, and organizational skills.

• Aerospace, Defense, Advanced Manufacturing, Marine, Automotive, or related industry experience.


• Familiarity with product development, prototyping, and engineering design processes.


• Knowledge of manufacturing methods such as machining, assembly, additive manufacturing, or rapid prototyping.


• PMP, PgMP, Agile, Scrum, or other Project Management certifications.
