Description
Thesleff Group is looking for an experienced Project Development Director to lead their new projects in the UK and internationally. The role will own project management and delivery.
Thesleff Group operate Los Mochis Restaurant in Notting Hill and The City,Sale e Pepe in Knightsbridge,Sale e Pepe Mare,Ma/Na Mayfair and Viajante87 cocktail bar and lounge in Notting Hill.
Our Development Director UK/International takes responsibility for all aspects of the delivery of build\-to\-hold\-and\-operate projects from feasibility and land acquisition through to opening and defects sign\-off. Create and implement PPT \& PM software
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
Focus on all actual and future hospitality projects,being the key point of contact for multiple hospitality projects. Manage construction and development on sites with external project teams as appropriate.
Project Delivery
Proactively encouraging the maximisation of time,cost and quality benefits during project delivery. Involved from signing of Heads of Terms to the end of defects periods.
Post Project
Overseeing and managing post\-completion,ensuring smooth handover to operations team and managing any handover issues on defects and warranty process,in conjunction with the operations teams as appropriate.
Collaboration
Building and managing relationships internally within Thesleff Group and externally with third\-party suppliers,stakeholders \& board members.
Reporting
Preparing weekly \& monthly reports,showing tracking against time,quality and cost as well as other key issues.
Financials/ Budgeting
Creating and updating budgets and cost estimates for potential capital projects across the portfolio. Carrying out commercial analysis of projects.
What makes a brilliant Development Director?
- • A keen interest in a design\-focussed approach to development with strong commercial awareness and eye for detail.
- + A thorough understanding of the Planning Process,how to implement development projects and strategic procurement as well as building construction and services.
+ Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
+ Able to work individually or part of a team
+ Experience of managing multiple projects with conflicting priorities,particularly delivering Hospitality Projects.
+ 2\-4 years post MRICS qualification experience with proven tenure
+ Experience of budget preparation and monitoring and change management
+ Take ownership of your personal development within your role and attend training where required.
