Project Coordinator

*Purpose of job:*

Our aim is to become a market leader in the provision of Electric Vehicle charging solutions to Local Authorities and Businesses as part of our strategy to lead the transition to zero carbon.

The goal is to undertake an ambitious electric vehicle charging installation program, deploying high volume and quality EV installations across the nation. Our aim is to make the world a better place, one charge point at a time.

The Project Coordinator will work within Zest’s Technical Operations team to provide assistance and support to the Operations Director, Technical Director and Technical Delivery Managers.

*Key Accountabilities:*

The role is responsible for the following:

• Taking ownership of allocated work, systems and prioritize workload


• Capture and process sales leads within the operational management systems


• Respond to customer emails and calls within allocated timescales


• Review, communicate and allocate information to wider operational team


• Adhere to operational procedures, request documentation from third parties


• Continuously and accurately update operational systems


• Manage orders for stock


• Work closely with Ops and Technical to provide a seamless integration between all the team


• Ongoing communication with external third parties


• Ongoing communication and relationship building with the internal sales team


• Monitoring operations inbox to ensure all RFIs and other emails are received and responded to in a timely manner


• Ensuring all project processes are followed and delivered in a timely manner


• Plus, any other duties as required by the leadership team.

• Accurate and up to date back\-office systems


• Maintaining stock levels and keeping up to date with equipment orders


• Ensuring all quotes are sent in a timely manner

• Internal – Sales, IT, Marketing \& Finance


• External – DNO’s, ICP’s, Contactors, Equipment providers, Systems operators

• Electric Vehicle industry knowledge is preferred


• Strong communication skills in a busy high\-pressure environment


• Highly pro\-active team\-player with the ability to motivate and work alongside others and share best practice


• Competent at managing stakeholder, customer and supplier relationships and expectations


• Ability to deal with complex queries


• Flexible to changing priorities and comfortable working in a fast\-paced environment


• Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise work accordingly to meet expectations


• Excellent working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint


• Ability to communicate at all levels · Good organisational and time management skills
