Company Overview

ECO Providers is dedicated to transforming work\-spaces into sustainable, energy\-efficient environments that prioritise both functionality and environmental responsibility. With over a decade of expertise in the energy efficiency industry, we specialise in tailored heating and insulation upgrades that reduce utility costs, lower carbon emissions, and help combat fuel poverty. As a trusted, government\-backed, and Trustmark\-registered company, we are committed to delivering high\-quality solutions that make a positive impact on communities and the environment.

Job Overview

We are seeking an organised and proactive Project Coordinator / Installations Supervisor to join our Operations team, taking responsibility for the day\-to\-day coordination of installation works across our domestic renewable energy programmes.

This is an office\-based role reporting to the Operations Director. The successful candidate will plan and maintain installation schedules, supervise the deployment of installation teams and ensure the information, materials and resources needed to complete works are in place before jobs reach site.

Acting as the central point of coordination between our Operations team, installers, suppliers and customers, the role is key to delivering projects to programme while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and maintain installation schedules across allocated projects and programmes, allocating work to teams based on availability, location, competency and job requirements.

  • Ensure installers have the correct job information, documentation and instructions before attending site, and coordinate installation dates with customers and internal teams.

  • Monitor the installation programme, identifying potential delays, clashes or resource constraints and reallocating resources to protect productivity and programme commitments.

  • Act as the primary office\-based point of contact for installation teams during the working day, monitoring progress against planned completion dates and supporting day\-to\-day operational issues.

  • Escalate technical, commercial, customer or health and safety issues to the appropriate manager, and ensure outstanding and return works are programmed and closed out promptly.

  • Align materials and equipment requirements with installation schedules, liaising with procurement, suppliers and installation teams to confirm availability and resolve shortages before they affect installation dates.

  • Minimise wasted journeys, aborted visits, failed deliveries and avoidable supplier or cancellation charges through effective forward planning.

  • Maintain accurate and current project information within company systems, keeping customers and internal stakeholders updated on installation dates, progress and any changes to programme.

  • Track delivery against programme and operational targets, provide regular updates to the Operations Director and recommend improvements where recurring issues affect performance.
Requirements
  • Experience in a busy operational, scheduling, project coordination or installations environment, with strong organisational and planning skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple jobs, priorities and deadlines simultaneously in a fast\-moving delivery environment.

  • Experience coordinating engineers, installers or subcontractors, ideally within renewable energy, construction, property services or utilities.

  • Confident communicator, comfortable dealing with field\-based teams, customers, suppliers and colleagues throughout the working day.

  • Strong problem\-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions quickly when plans and priorities change.

  • Good IT skills and confidence using scheduling, CRM or project management systems, with strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.

  • Understanding of solar PV, battery storage, heating, insulation or other energy\-efficiency measures, and of compliance\-led installation environments, is desirable.
Qualifications

GCSE passes (or equivalent) in Maths and English, or demonstrable equivalent numeracy and literacy in a commercial environment.

Competent user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook, alongside scheduling, CRM or project management systems.

Recognised project, operations or business administration qualification, such as APM PFQ, PRINCE2 Foundation or an NVQ in Business Administration, is desirable.

Full UK Driving Licence, with the willingness to visit installation sites and suppliers occasionally when required.

Personal Atrributes

Organised and methodical, with the drive to keep multiple moving parts on track in a busy operational environment.

Proactive and accountable, taking ownership of issues through to resolution rather than passing them on.

Clear and confident communicator who builds strong relationships with installers, suppliers, customers and colleagues.

Committed to safety, quality, customer service and continuous improvement.
