We are looking for an organised, proactive and IT\-confident Project Administrator to join our busy Projects team on a full\-time basis.
JPJ Installations is a specialist subcontractor within the construction industry, delivering aluminium window, door and curtain walling projects across London and the South East.
This is a varied role providing day\-to\-day administrative support to our Projects Department, with a strong focus on IT systems, project information and digital processes. We are shortly implementing a new ERP (IT) system, and the successful candidate will play an important role in supporting its implementation and ongoing use within the Projects team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the central Project Admin email inbox, coordinating requests and ensuring actions are followed through.
- Providing day\-to\-day administrative support to Project Managers.
- Supporting the implementation and administration of our new ERP system.
- Assist Project Managers with purchase order administration and ensure the correct project and cost information is recorded.
- Assisting Project Managers with the use of the ERP system and ensuring information is accurately maintained.
- Preparing and maintaining project and site documentation.
- Assisting with H\&S and QA documentation.
- Supporting the H\&S Manager with arranging and booking employee training.
- Assisting with plant and equipment hire administration.
- Maintaining accurate electronic project records and documentation.
- Liaising with suppliers, site teams and other departments as required.
Strong IT skills are particularly important for this position. You will need to be confident working across a range of software and digital systems, comfortable learning new software and able to quickly understand new processes and ways of working.
You will also need to be highly organised, accurate and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple requests and priorities and take ownership of tasks through to completion.
Previous administration or project support experience is essential, together with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
Previous experience using an ERP, project management, purchasing or similar business system would be advantageous, although experience of our particular system is not required.
Experience within construction or another project\-based environment would also be beneficial but is not essential.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being at the centre of a busy team and who is particularly confident with IT, systems and organisation.
This is a full time role of 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
