Production/ Warehouse Manager (Chemical Manufacturing)
About Us:
We are a growing manufacturer and distributor of cleaning chemicals, automotive products, and industrial solutions supplying customers across the UK. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Chemical Warehouse \& Production Manager to oversee our warehouse, production, filling, and dispatch operations.
This is a hands\-on management role requiring strong leadership, organisational skills, and a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.
The Role:
You will be responsible for the day\-to\-day management of warehouse and production operations, ensuring customer orders are manufactured, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing warehouse and production staff
- Planning and scheduling production activities
- Overseeing chemical blending, filling, packing, and dispatch operations
- Managing stock levels of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, COSHH, and environmental requirements
- Maintaining batch traceability and production records
- Conducting stock takes and investigating discrepancies
- Implementing continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitoring productivity and warehouse performance
- Liaising with suppliers, hauliers, and customers where required
- Training and developing team members
- Ensuring quality standards are maintained across all operations
- Supporting audits and quality management systems
- Previous experience managing warehouse and production teams
- Experience within chemicals, manufacturing, FMCG, automotive, or industrial sectors
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Good understanding of stock control and warehouse systems
- Experience with health and safety procedures
- Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
- Computer literate with Microsoft Excel and ERP/WMS systems
- Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
- Chemical manufacturing or blending experience
- Knowledge of COSHH regulations
- Experience working within ISO quality systems
- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
- Dangerous goods or ADR awareness

Working Hours:
Mon\-Fri \- 07:30AM : 16:30PM
Weekends are not mandatory, however overtime maybe required during busy periods.
Job Types: Permanent, Full\-time
Pay: £30,000\.00\-£34,000\.00 per year
