Production Scheduler
We are excited to announce an opportunity for someone to join our Supply Chain team as a Production Scheduler.
This role is a key link between Planning and Production, ensuring that our weekly manufacturing plans are delivered efficiently and accurately. The successful candidate will work closely with the Production Planner, Production teams, Purchasing, and Supply Chain to help keep operations running smoothly and support the continued growth of the business.
Salary: £27,500 per annum
Hours: 39 hours per week
Reporting to: Supply Chain Manager
What will you be doing?
- Maintaining and updating weekly production schedules in line with staffing, material, and equipment availability.
- Liaising with Production, Purchasing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure plans remain achievable and on track.
- Producing and issuing manufacturing paperwork, including powder, gel, and packing sheets.
- Allocating raw materials against production requirements.
- Supporting the Production Planner with forecasting, resource planning, and cover during periods of absence.
- Creating and maintaining product structures and data within the ERP system.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, reduce delays, and increase efficiency.
- Supporting the long\-term development of automated scheduling and planning systems.
We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and enjoys working with data and systems. You will ideally have experience in a planning, supply chain, production administration, or manufacturing environment.
You'll also have:
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work with teams across the business.
- Strong problem\-solving abilities.
- Confidence using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and ERP systems.
- Experience within an FMCG or manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
