Key Responsibilities
Support with the operation of the Grit blast and cassetting processes following company work procedures and instructions.
- Conduct regular maintenance (TPM checks) and support breakdown maintenance as required.
- Regularly monitor production to ensure it meets the required quality standards.
- Work closely with the team leader and lead operator to ensure production meets agreed deadlines.
- Liaise closely with colleagues on status of machines, maintenance and quality or on any other related issues to ensure the continuity of production.
- Maintain daily production, maintenance and quality records.
- Use a forklift truck or ped op for the transfer of raw materials from stores to production area.
- * Promote a safe work area carrying out regular housekeeping duties

Carrying out any other reasonable duties as requested by the Company
- Education / Qualifications
· Experience of working in a manufacturing environment and the ability to follow work instructions/specifications is essential.
· Previous experience of visual inspection for cosmetic defects would be a considerable advantage.
- Forklift truck licence would be desirable but is not essential.
- Be a good team player with experience of effectively contributing to a team environment as well as the ability to work on own initiative and under pressure
- Work accurately and efficiently
- Possess good problem\-solving abilities
- Have experience working in a fast\-moving environment and be able to demonstrate good time management and organisational skills
