Fork Lift Truck Driver (Pallet Network Environment)

Due to continued growth here at the Farrall’s Group, we are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Fork Lift Truck Driver (within a Pallet Network Environment) to join our BRCGS accredited storage facility, to provide a first class loading and unloading service ensuring that delivery vehicles are loaded in a safe and timely manner.

*At Farrall's we offer a competitive basic rate of £*28,730\.00 per annum *based on 42\.5 hours per week.* *Working 10\.30am \- 7pm*

A current Forklift Truck licence is essential

Key responsibilities include:

• To receive, pick, count, pack and move stock to customer requirements, ensuring agreed turn around targets are achieved.


• General housekeeping and safety of working areas.


• Conducting and recording daily checks of equipment.


• Notification of damaged stock / equipment and premises to Warehouse Supervisor.


• Stock Maintenance, including cycle and stock takes in accordance with Company procedures.


• To cover for other areas as required.


• To be fully trained and competent in MHE.


• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles by hand or with a forklift truck (must hold a license and be competent)


• To follow all Health and Safety requirements and to adhere to all Company’s procedures and policies.


• Awareness of relevant industry storage guidelines and T\&C’s (ISO / UKWA / CILT uk / BRCGS etc.)


• Responsible for upholding the company’s adherence to the BRCGS Global Standard for Storage and Distribution, and maintaining product safety, legality, and quality systems in relation to BRC.
