Production Operative \- Part time

(8\-10 hours per week \- over 2 agreed days)

Teknek was founded over 40 years ago in the UK and designs and produces specialised equipment which removes particle contamination from a wide range of materials used in modern manufacturing. Particles cause defects during manufacturing processes, and as such they can have an adverse effect on production yields as well as in field failures. Teknek invented the contact cleaning concept and its technology is used in a range of industries from PCB production to flat panel manufacture, medical products to printing and packaging. Now part of the ITW Global Group of Companies our business continues to be world wide.

Here at our Teknek Inchinnan operations we require Production Operative \- Part Time.

This role will be 8\-10 hours per week over 2 agreed days.

Desired Skills:\-

• Previous manufacturing of a manufacturing facility desirable but not essential


• Understand the need to be flexible regarding daily tasks, be open and willing to assist where required.


• Be capable of working on own initiative to problem solve and generate improvements.


• Good numeracy skills for counting parts and general stock


• Enjoys working in a fast paced environment


• Be capable of working on their own or as part of a team.


• Understanding of “Lean” and “5S”.


• Strive towards continuous improvement methodology\- using key performance indicators \- target setting and attainment
