Production Operations Manager

The Royal Albert Hall is seeking an experienced, organised and solutions\-focused Production Operations Manager to lead the operational planning, technical delivery and safe execution of world\-class events across one of the world's most iconic live entertainment venues. This role sits at the heart of our Production \& Technical department, overseeing the Technical Production Management team that ensure every event is delivered safely, professionally and to the highest possible standard.

You will lead and oversee the operational planning and technical advancing of events across the Hall's Auditorium and other performance spaces, working closely with promoters, artists, contractors and internal teams to ensure every production is delivered safely, efficiently and with exceptional attention to detail. From coordinating complex technical requirements to overseeing major builds and high\-profile events, you will provide the leadership and oversight required.

This role is about more than technical delivery. It is about leading people and fostering a culture of professionalism, collaboration and continuous improvement. You will manage and develop a team of Technical Production Managers and a large pool of casual technical staff, providing coaching, guidance and support while ensuring resources are effectively deployed across an ambitious and varied event programme. Your leadership will help create an environment where individuals can thrive and perform at their best.

You will oversee relevant contractor management, risk assessments, construction phase planning and safe systems of work, ensuring complex productions and maintenance projects are delivered with careful planning and robust operational control. You will also lead key elements of our annual maintenance programme, coordinating resources and stakeholders to deliver critical workstreams on time and to budget.
