Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Production Manager to oversee manufacturing operations within our organisation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating production activities, ensuring quality standards are met, and optimising efficiency across all production processes. This role offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated team and contribute to the continuous improvement of our manufacturing practices. Duties
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily production activities to meet organisational goals and deadlines.
- Manage and motivate production teams, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and operational procedures.
- Analyse production data to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with Supply chain and quality departments to optimise workflow and resource utilisation.
- Maintain accurate records of production numbers and maintenance schedules.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency, reducing waste, and enhancing product quality.
- Ensure all staff adhere to Site rules, health and safety policies and promote a culture of safety awareness throughout the organisation.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage conflict effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to prioritise tasks in a fast\-paced setting.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to manufacturing operations.
- Proficiency in using production management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and implement process improvements.
Pay: £31,928\.00\-£33,571\.20 per year
