Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Production \& Logistics Operative to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting manufacturing and production operations through hands\-on assembly, equipment handling, and logistical tasks. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring smooth production flow, maintaining safety standards, and supporting business operations. Prior experience in an engineering environment is advantageous, but training will be provided for suitable applicants committed to learning and growth within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Operate various production and warehouse equipment safely and efficiently

  • Assist with assembly of components using hand tools and power tools as required

  • Manage the movement of goods within the factory, including loading and unloading lorries

  • Driving and delivery of finished goods to customers

  • Operate machinery in a safe and efficient manner.

  • Support the team with packaging, labelling, and preparing products for dispatch

  • Follow health and safety procedures at all times to minimise risks within the workspace

  • Keep work areas clean, tidy, and compliant with safety regulations
Skills
  • Mechanical knowledge or experience with machinery is highly desirable

  • Forklift qualification is desireable

  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for assembly and maintenance tasks

  • Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential; willingness to learn is key

  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

  • Clean driving record and ability to spend long periods on the road safely

  • Good physical fitness, capable of lifting loads up to 25kg and standing for extended periods

  • Reliable with a proactive approach to problem\-solving and safety compliance

Pay: £13\.16\-£13\.46 per hour
