Production Engineer

We are a leading manufacturer of high\-quality printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) and custom cable assemblies, serving clients across industries including aerospace, automotive, medical, and Robotics. With a commitment to precision, innovation, quality and customer satisfaction, we are looking for a detail\-orientated, reliable and innovative Production Engineer to join us.

Job Summary

A successful Production Engineer is an independent thinker, and a problem\-solver. The best ones also diagnose problems, train staff and provide effective recommendations to both customers and production. As a key member of our growing team, you will be responsible for optimising how our products are built and supporting the production team on a day to day to basis – from training workers in the responsible use of machinery, to identifying \& solving problems in the production line.

Responsibilities

· Build documentation \& Packs – review incoming technical documentation for new orders and compile comprehensive build packs to guide shop floor manufacturing

· Tooling \& Ergonomics \- assess tooling needs, estimate costs for new assembly quotes and develop custom tooling aids that made production safer and more efficient

· Client \& Project Technical Support: Serve as the main engineering contact for dedicated customer accounts, managing ongoing projects and handling technical enquiries.

· Workflow \& Schedule Management: Establish clear delivery timelines for engineering tasks, keeping projects on track alongside production schedules and management guidelines.

· Ensure all daily engineering activities align with our company environmental guidelines to support sustainable manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Proven qualifications / experience in manufacturing or production engineering.


• A team player, who wants to learn and is prepared to do what it takes to fulfil their brief


• Enthusiastic \& hard\-working with a passion for electronics \& engineering


• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with both production teams and customers.
