Fire Door Maintenance Engineer
Clearview Glaziers are a leading supplier and installers of high quality windows, doors, and glass products. We are looking for an experienced and reliable Fire Door Maintenance Engineer to join our team. This role involves carrying out inspections, maintenance, and remedial repairs to fire doors across residential and commercial properties, ensuring full compliance with current fire safety standards.
Previous experience in fire door maintenance, repairs, or installation is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, maintain, and repair fire doors to current compliance standards
- Replace and adjust components including hinges, closers, seals, locks, and ironmongery
- Identify faults and carry out remedial works to a high standard
- Ensure all work complies with fire safety regulations
- Complete maintenance records and reports accurately
- Maintain a safe, clean, and professional working environment
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Complete all paperwork correctly
- Proven experience in fire door maintenance, repair, or installation
- Good understanding of fire door compliance and safety regulations
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Full UK driving licence essential
Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 16:30
Salary:
£30,000 to £40,000, dependent on experience
