Job description

Production Assembler is required to make electronic and mechanical connections via the process of soldering. Electronic and mechanical joints that are used in various current rated filters, from very low ampage to 1000's Amps. Winding coils, crimping connectors and soldering surface mount components will also be imperative to various builds.

Responsibilities:

  • Assembling products to design file, ensuring all procedures with regards to inspections are followed.

  • Completing tasks in a timely manner, in a company where targets are very important and must be adhered.

  • Ensure clean workspace.

Qualifications/Experience:
  • Experience in electronics/manufacturing industry (required)

  • English and maths (preferred)

Personal Attributes:
  • A creative and proactive approach to all aspects of work with a ‘can do’ attitude

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Initiative and common sense to be able to ask the correct questions at the right time

  • Work well with others

Hours
  • Currently a flexible working week, with the requirement to work 36 hours p/week. Monday to Thursday between the hours of 8:00am and 5:30pm, Friday optional.

Pay (starting)
  • Weekly Pay, stating at £11/hr, this will be reviewed based on experience.

Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent

Pay: £13\.00\-£16\.00 per hour
