Navy is a fast growing seasonally\-led beauty and wellness brand, stocked in SpaceNK and located on our family ran farm on the boarder of Yorkshire

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Product \& Supply Chain Manager to take ownership of our product portfolio, ensuring every product is commercially successful, operationally efficient and delivered to the highest standard.

The Role

This is a commercially focused role responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of our products from concept through to customer.

You will oversee new product development, supplier relationships, purchasing, forecasting, inventory planning, product information and product performance. You will work closely with the Founder to ensure that every product contributes positively to the growth, profitability and operational health of the business.

Success in this role will be measured not only by successful launches, but by maintaining healthy stock levels, improving inventory efficiency, protecting margins and driving profitable growth across the product range.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy \& Portfolio Management

  • Own the product portfolio and product lifecycle

  • Identify opportunities for new product development and range expansion

  • Evaluate product performance and recommend improvements, rationalisation or discontinuation where appropriate

  • Build and maintain a product roadmap aligned with business objectives

  • Monitor market trends, customer feedback and competitor activity
Commercial Performance \& Profitability
  • Take ownership of product profitability across the range

  • Monitor margins and recommend pricing adjustments where required

  • Analyse product performance and identify opportunities to improve revenue, margin and stock efficiency

  • Assess the commercial viability of new product launches before approval

  • Support business planning through sales forecasting and demand analysis

  • Develop reporting that enables informed product and purchasing decisions
Supply Chain \& Purchasing
  • Manage supplier relationships and performance

  • Negotiate pricing, minimum order quantities and commercial terms

  • Oversee purchasing and production planning

  • Monitor supplier lead times and proactively manage risks

  • Identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs

  • Maintain strong relationships with manufacturing and packaging partners
Forecasting \& Inventory Management
  • Own demand forecasting across the business

  • Ensure inventory levels support growth while protecting cash flow

  • Monitor stock turns, sell through rates and inventory health

  • Reduce stock shortages, overstocks and obsolete inventory

  • Develop inventory planning processes that improve availability and operational efficiency

  • Work closely with Operations to maintain optimal stock levels across all products
Product Development
  • Manage new product development projects from concept to launch

  • Coordinate product formulation, testing and approval processes

  • Source and evaluate new suppliers and manufacturers

  • Manage packaging development and artwork processes

  • Ensure launches are delivered on time and within budget

  • Build clear product specifications and technical documentation
Product Information \& Compliance
  • Maintain accurate product data across all business systems

  • Create and manage product specifications and documentation

  • Support the development of product descriptions and educational content

  • Ensure product information remains accurate, compliant and up to date

  • Maintain product data within Shopify and associated systems
Skills \& Experience Essential
  • Experience in product management, buying, supply chain, merchandising or product development

  • Strong commercial and financial awareness

  • Experience managing inventory and forecasting demand

  • Proven ability to analyse product performance and make data driven decisions

  • Strong supplier management and negotiation skills

  • Excellent organisational and project management abilities

  • Advanced Excel or equivalent analytical skills
Desirable
  • Experience within beauty, personal care or consumer goods

  • Experience working with manufacturers and packaging suppliers

  • Knowledge of inventory planning systems

  • Experience using Shopify and inventory management platforms
