Role Purpose

The Product Manager is responsible for sourcing, negotiating and contracting products and services for both FIT and Group business. The role manages supplier relationships, supports the development of the product portfolio and destinations, and helps ensure products are commercially competitive, accurately contracted and available for sale in line with business requirements.

Role impact: The role contributes to AC Group’s reputation as a leading DMC by helping to provide compelling, authentic visitor experiences to overseas tour operators, travel agents and the wider travel trade.

Responsibilities

· Source, negotiate and contract products and services for both FIT and Group business, ensuring the best possible commercial terms are achieved and agreed deadlines are met.

· Deliver against agreed commercial and operational KPIs for the product portfolio.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and partners.

· Schedule and attend regular in\-person and virtual meetings with key suppliers.

· Negotiate and contract special promotions, packages and itineraries.

· Identify, scope and source new products, services and visitor experiences.

· Support destination and product development in line with business and client requirements.

· Manage relationships with existing partners, including reviewing performance and providing relevant analysis and reporting.

· Contract products and services to meet specific client and/or market requirements.

· Coordinate product loading and support the timely release of contracted products for sale.

· Keep clients and internal colleagues informed of new products, developments and changes to existing products.

· Produce and review management reports relating to the assigned product portfolio.

· Support Operations Teams with the resolution of product or supplier\-related issues affecting Group or FIT business.

· Support the resolution of escalated complaints where supplier or product input is required.

· Maintain up\-to\-date knowledge of new tours, products, experiences and developments within the market.

· Attend familiarisation trips, trade fairs, workshops and networking events as required.

· Travel within the relevant markets for supplier meetings, destination development and product development, approximately three to four weeks per year.

· Support the Accounts Team with supplier invoice queries and resolution where required.

· Undertake other reasonable duties appropriate to the role, as required.

Skills \& Experience

· Demonstrates AC Group’s D\-R\-I\-V\-E values and acts as a positive role model across the business

· Excellent negotiation and communication skills

· Strong commercial understanding

· Strong knowledge and experience of the UK, Ireland and France tourism industry is an advantage

· Full UK/European driving licence

· Good numeric understanding and commercial acumen

· Strong attention to detail, accuracy and precision

· Strong organisational, multi\-tasking and prioritisation skills

· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint; CRM experience an advantage

· Professional fluency in English

· 2\-3 years’ experience sourcing / contracting services and products

· Must have and maintain a valid right to work in the country in which the role is based.

Pay: £35,000\.00\-£40,000\.00 per year
