Product Innovation Manager (m/f/d)
Location: Stolberg (Greater Area Aachen)
Your responsibilities:
- End\-to\-End Ownership: Take end\-to\-end ownership of innovative product developments — from the first consumer insight and idea through development and validation to successful market launch.
- Consumer\-Centric Innovation: Identify new growth and innovation opportunities based on consumer insights, market observations, trends and evolving consumer needs. Translate these into differentiated product innovations and new growth opportunities for existing and new target groups as well as existing and new channels.
- Validation \& Prototyping: Lead consumer validations, concept tests, prototyping and iterative optimizations throughout the development phase.
- Business Case Development: Develop business cases and decision\-making materials for Stage\-Gate\-decisions and management decisions.
- Global Collaboration: Collaborate closely with international teams across Europe, North America and Asia to integrate global consumer perspectives and market requirements early into the innovation process.
- Brand Alignment: Ensure that consumer needs and brand requirements are consistently reflected throughout the entire development process.
- Experience: You bring at least 5 years of experience in the conception, development and implementation of innovative product and solution concepts within a consumer goods environment.
- Track Record: You have proven experience translating consumer insights, trends and market observations into differentiated innovations and successful market launches.
- Market Understanding: You have a strong understanding of consumers, market shifts, cultural developments and future growth opportunities.
- Mindset: You think strategically, act entrepreneurially and combine creativity with strong execution capabilities.
- Project Management: You maintain a clear overview of priorities, timelines and relevant stakeholders, even within complex development projects.
- Team Player: You enjoy working cross\-functionally and internationally and know how to bring together different perspectives to develop successful solutions.
- Methodological Skills: You bring strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as creativity in developing new product and innovation approaches. You have experience in consumer research, trend research, concept testing, co\-creation and innovation methodologies such as Design Thinking.
- Languages: Fluent German and English skills complete your profile.
