Accountabilities

  • Lead the end-to-end product design process, from discovery and problem definition through delivery, covering web and mobile experiences.

  • Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Data Scientists to understand customer needs, identify meaningful problems, and define effective solutions.

  • Identify relevant product and user metrics for design initiatives and take ownership of measuring and improving their impact.

  • Conduct research and translate user insights into actionable recommendations supporting new market launches and the introduction of new payment capabilities.

  • Create intuitive and visually polished experiences, progressing from early concepts and wireframes to detailed prototypes and production-ready designs.

  • Facilitate customer testing sessions and workshops to validate assumptions, gather feedback, and ensure solutions address real user needs before development.

  • Collaborate with engineers throughout implementation to maintain design quality, consistency, and fidelity through to release.

  • Contribute to the evolution of the design system, helping ensure scalable, consistent, and cohesive product experiences.

  • Proactively identify opportunities and propose creative solutions to complex product and customer challenges.
Requirements
  • Fluent English communication skills.

  • 4+ years of experience designing complex commercial digital products in an in-house product environment; experience in fintech or payments is a strong advantage.

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design experience across web and mobile platforms is required.

  • Proven experience designing for iOS, Android, and web environments.

  • Strong foundation in user experience design, including user behavior, interaction design, and information architecture.

  • Strong visual design skills, including typography, grid systems, color, components, and overall visual hierarchy.

  • Ability to think strategically and clearly communicate design rationale to cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Solid understanding of technical constraints and how they can influence product and design decisions.

  • Strong ownership and autonomy, with the ability to manage the design process independently across multiple projects.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a creative mindset when approaching complex or evolving challenges.

  • Experience creating or maintaining design systems at scale is a plus.

  • Ability to build simple prototypes using HTML/CSS, Framer, or similar tools is an advantage.

  • Familiarity with payments, financial technology, or business-to-business Software as a Service products is preferred.

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments and navigating ambiguity while bringing structure and clarity to complex problems.
