The Vacancy
We’re looking for a Procurement Manager to establish and lead procurement across the business.
Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll work with teams across Workspace to improve how we buy goods and services, negotiate with suppliers, manage risk, and deliver better value from third\-party spend. This is a hands\-on role with the opportunity to build processes, influence decision\-making and shape procurement from the ground up.
What you'll be doing
- Lead supplier sourcing, tenders and contract negotiations.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve value and simplify supplier arrangements.
- Develop procurement plans and category strategies across key areas of spend.
- Improve purchasing processes and increase compliance with procurement controls.
- Manage supplier performance, contract renewals and commercial risk.
- Produce procurement reporting, savings tracking and spend analysis.
- Act as the main procurement contact for colleagues across the business and manage the Procurement Coordinator
- Experience in procurement, sourcing or commercial management.
- Experience running tenders and negotiating with suppliers.
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with spend data.
- Understanding of contracts, governance and supplier risk.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and influence stakeholders.
- Experience in property, facilities management, real estate or a multi\-site environment is desirable
- CIPS qualification is desirable
This role requires you to be in the office 4 days a week.
You must be authorised to work in the UK to be considered for this position.
