Your Role!
As a Procurement Compliance Officer, you’ll support the smooth running of our procurement processes and help make sure everything we do is compliant, transparent and delivers value for money.
Working with the Procurement Manager and Procurement Officer, you’ll:
- Support procurement activity and help develop contract documentation
- Help run and maintain our e\-tendering system, including handling supplier queries
- Monitor and review spend data, producing reports to track compliance
- Keep procurement records up to date, including the Contracts and Transparency Register
- Act as a first point of contact for queries from suppliers and colleagues
- Support the publication of transparency data
- Assist with monitoring supplier performance and contract management
About You!
We’re looking for someone organised, detail\-focused and keen to learn, who enjoys working as part of a team.
You’ll have:
- Good communication skills and confidence in dealing with a range of people
- Experience using Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your workload
- A careful, accurate approach with attention to detail
- The ability to handle sensitive information appropriately
- A positive and flexible approach
- Good problem\-solving skills and a willingness to learn
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- An interest in procurement, compliance or data, with a willingness to develop your knowledge (including working towards CIPS if not already qualified)
