Pharmacy Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail\-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role involves supporting pharmacists in dispensing medications, providing excellent patient care, and ensuring smooth pharmacy operations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in pharmacy settings and a passion for assisting patients with their healthcare needs. Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently


• Manage medication stock levels, including receiving deliveries and organising storage


• Provide excellent customer service by answering patient queries and offering guidance on over\-the\-counter products


• Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring compliance with safety protocols


• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient information in accordance with data protection regulations


• Ensure the pharmacy environment remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards


• Support patient care initiatives by offering assistance with health\-related questions and providing information about medication usage

Skills

• Prior experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar role within a pharmacy setting (preferred)


• Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmacy operations


• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to minimise errors


• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals


• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team


• Compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating professionalism at all times
