PROCESS ENGINEER – (Manufacturing)
*MUNSTER (Cork/Tipp region)*
PURPOSE OF ROLE
Travelling to various Customer locations who are predominately from the Dairy, Food and Drinks Industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for the validation of operational protocols across customer sites, while also providing a high level of technical and customer support.

LOCATION
Munster – Cork/Tipperary primarily, with potential travel to other regions as required.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Validation \& Technical Responsibilities, to include
\- Plant CIP (Clean\-in\-Place) protocols.
\- Physical checking and verification of process parameters.
\- Comparing actual plant operation against agreed protocol requirements and compliance standards.
\- Conducting chemical titration and concentration checks.
\- Identifying and troubleshooting process and CIP\-related issues.
\- Compiling, analysing and documenting validation data for incorporation into detailed customer audit reports.
\- Providing recommendations and supporting customers in the implementation of corrective actions and process improvements.
\- Maintaining accurate records of validation activities and ensuring all work is completed to the required WTL standards.
Customer \& Site Responsibilities
\- Act as a key representative of Water Technology Ltd. (WTL) on customer sites, always maintaining a professional and customer\-focused approach.
\- Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers from operators, maintenance personnel, supervisors and management.
\- Lead customer meetings where required, presenting validation findings, audit results, recommendations, and ongoing actions.
\- Communicate technical information clearly and effectively through site visit reports, emails \& in person meetings
\- Work closely with customers to understand operational requirements and identify opportunities for process optimisation, water, chemical, energy and time savings.
\- Follow up on outstanding actions and ensure agreed customer requirements are progressed in a timely manner.
Customer Stock \& Inventory Management
\- Take responsibility for the effective management of WTL chemical/product stocks at assigned customer sites.
\- Carry out regular customer stock checks
\- Monitor stock levels and identify upcoming requirements to ensure continuity of supply.
\- Place and coordinate customer orders in line with agreed requirements and internal processes.
\- Proactively identify discrepancies, unusual consumption patterns or potential supply issues and escalate where required.
\- Work with customers and WTL colleagues to optimise stockholding and ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained.
REQUIREMENTS
\- Min of 2\-3 years relevant experience in a highly regulated food environment, desirable.
\- Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or equivalent qualification / background, required.
\- Excellent organisational and analytical skills with an acute attention to detail, essential.
\- Physically capable of working in a physical role.
\- Proven experience working in a customer/client facing role.
\- Full clean driving licence essential.
\- Valid working permit/visa.
\- Excellent command of English language (both orally and written).
\- IT Skills, working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
