Private Parking Camera Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Private Parking Camera Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting advanced CCTV for private parking facilities. This role requires a strong technical background in computer networking, electrical systems, and telecommunication infrastructure. The ideal applicant will possess mechanical knowledge and experience with hand and power tools, ensuring efficient and precise installation and repair of parking surveillance systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, and maintain CCTV systems specialised for private parking environments


• Install signage for car parks including sign posts if required


• Troubleshoot system malfunctions and perform repairs on cameras, networking equipment, and related hardware


• Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively during installation, maintenance, and repair tasks


• Ensure all work complies with electrical safety standards and organisational policies

Skills

• Strong understanding of computer networking principles relevant to CCTV systems


• Mechanical knowledge related to hardware installation and maintenance


• Experience with computer hardware components utilised in surveillance systems


• Electrical experience including wiring, circuit troubleshooting, and power management


• Proficiency in working with CCTV equipment, schematics, and system design documentation


• Ability to operate hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, as well as power tools safely


• Knowledge of telecommunication infrastructure including cabling standards and connectors


• Construction experience beneficial for site setup and infrastructure integration

This role is ideal for technically proficient individuals passionate about security technology who thrive in a hands\-on environment. Applicants should demonstrate strong problem\-solving skills along with the ability to work independently and outside in all weather.

A company van and fuel card will be provided for the successful candidate, all tools and materials provided as well. The van can be with you 24/7 the only office time is occasional catch ups and re stocks when required.

Pay: £140\.00\-£160\.00 per day
