About the Role

We are seeking an X\-ray / CT Specialist to play a pivotal role in accelerating the growth of our X\-ray and computed tomography (CT) capabilities. This is a high\-impact, customer\-facing position at the intersection of applications engineering, technical leadership, and business development.

You will work directly with customers to understand their needs, define high\-value technical solutions, and translate these into commercially compelling proposals.

Internally, you will act as a focal point for X\-ray and CT expertise, helping shape product direction and building capability across the business.

This role suits someone who combines strong technical depth with commercial instinct, and is motivated by turning complex customer problems into scalable, high\-value solutions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Partner with customers to understand complex needs and deliver tailored X\-ray / CT solutions

  • Translate technical requirements into robust system concepts and high\-value proposals

  • Support Sales in identifying, qualifying, and developing new opportunities

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for X\-ray and CT across customers and internal teams

  • Collaborate with Engineering to ensure solutions meet performance and application requirements

  • Lead feasibility studies, trials, and technical demonstrations

  • Identify and develop new applications and market opportunities

  • Work cross\-functionally within the Coesia Group to integrate X\-ray / CT into broader automation and packaging systems

  • Contribute to product strategy, innovation, and internal capability building
What You Need to Be Successful Basic Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related field

  • Strong expertise in industrial X\-ray / CT systems (e.g. microfocus, photon counting, TDI line scan)

  • Experience in applications engineering, technical sales, or solutions engineering

  • Ability to translate complex challenges into practical, scalable solutions

  • Strong commercial mindset and customer focus

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Familiarity with image analysis, defect detection, or non\-destructive testing (NDT)

  • Exposure to proposal development and commercial processes
