Role: SEN Teaching Assistant (Multiple Positions Available)

Pay Rate: £100 - £120 per day (dependent on experience)

Hours: Full Time, 5 Days per Week

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Temporary until the end of November (with potential to continue, dependent on permanent staffing arrangements)

SEN Teaching Assistants Required - Immediate Start

Reed Education are currently recruiting for multiple Teaching Assistants to join a well-established specialist primary school supporting pupils with additional needs.

We are looking for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants who have a strong background supporting children with special educational needs and challenging behaviours. This is a full-time opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a difference and helping pupils reach their full potential.

The School

Our client is a specialist provision that supports pupils with a range of complex needs, including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, communication and interaction difficulties, and associated behavioural challenges. The Role

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis

  • Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviours

  • Building positive relationships with pupils

  • Assisting teachers in delivering engaging lessons

  • Supporting pupils' emotional, social, and academic development

  • Helping to create a positive and structured learning environment

The Ideal Candidate
  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within an SEN setting

  • Experience supporting children with challenging behaviours

  • A calm, resilient, and patient approach

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Available to start immediately and commit to a full-time role
