We are currently recruiting for a Catering Assistant to join a friendly and welcoming specialist school in the Southampton area on a temporary basis until the Christmas holidays.

- Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00am - 2:00pm
- Term Time Only
- Pay Rate: Approximately £100 per day
- Assisting with the preparation and serving of food
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness
- Supporting kitchen staff during busy lunch periods
- Clearing and cleaning dining and kitchen areas
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Creating a positive dining experience for pupils and staff
- Previous catering, kitchen or food service experience desirable
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Understanding of food hygiene standards (preferred but not essential)
- Work within a highly supportive educational environment
