<p><strong>Banding:</strong> Band 8a equivalent<br><strong>Location:</strong> The Lilac Tree Clinic, Sheffield<br><strong>Working Hours:</strong> Full-time, Monday to Friday<br><strong>Salary:</strong> £53,000 – £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)</p>

This is a unique opportunity to work in a specialist, independent clinic offering evidence-based interventions in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment. Located in the heart of Sheffield, the clinic operates in partnership with local healthcare providers and is committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care.</p>

<h3><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3>
<p>As a Practitioner Psychologist, you’ll be at the heart of patient care, delivering psychological assessments and therapies tailored to individuals with eating disorders. Your role will include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments</li>
<li>Delivering CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based therapies</li>
<li>Collaborating with psychiatrists, dietitians, nurses, and therapists</li>
<li>Engaging patients and families with clear, compassionate communication</li>
<li>Contributing to clinical governance and quality improvement</li>
<li>Supporting staff training and mentoring junior clinicians</li>
<li>Participating in research and integrating findings into practice</li>
</ul>

<h3><strong>Qualifications and Experience</strong></h3>

<li>Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy or equivalent)</li>
<li>HCPC registration</li>
<li>Experience in the psychological treatment of eating disorders</li>
<li>Strong clinical and diagnostic skills</li>
<li>Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Desirable but not essential:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Additional training in CBT, DBT, or eating disorder-specific therapies</li>
<li>Experience in day treatment or inpatient settings</li>
<li>Research experience or publications</li>
</ul>
