Part\-Time Practice Nurse (14–16 Hours per Week – Flexible Working Pattern)
Kilbirnie Medical Practice is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and patient\-centred Practice Nurse to join our friendly and supportive primary care team.
We are a well\-established GP training practice serving approximately 8,000 patients and are committed to delivering high\-quality, person\-centred care to our local community. We have a strong multidisciplinary team including an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP), CTAC support, dedicated pharmacy support, and an experienced administrative and management team, creating an excellent environment for collaborative working and professional development.

We are looking for a confident and compassionate Practice Nurse to undertake a broad range of nursing duties within primary care. This is a part\-time post of approximately per week, with flexibility around working days and hours to suit the successful candidate and practice needs.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Chronic Disease Management reviews, particularly:
- Asthma
- COPD
- Cervical screening (smears)
- Injections
- Cardiovascular Disease DES reviews
- Learning Disability Health Reviews
- Health promotion and lifestyle advice
- Infection prevention and control responsibilities
- Emergency trolley and stock checks
- Other duties associated with the role of a Practice Nurse within General Practice
- Is a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
- Has experience working in primary care (desirable but not essential)
- Has experience in chronic disease management, particularly asthma and COPD
- Is confident undertaking cervical screening and injections
- Demonstrates excellent communication and organisational skills
- Works well both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Is committed to providing high\-quality patient care
- Flexible part\-time working of approximately per week. Working days and times negotiable.
