Practice Manager
The Practice Manager will oversee daily non\-clinical operations, ensure strict legislative compliance, and provide cohesive staff leadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1\. Staff Leadership \& HR Compliance
\- Roster, supervise, and cross\-train the medical administration and reception team.
\- Ensure practice policies adhere to Irish Employment Law (contracts, annual leave, grievance procedures).
\- Handle recruitment, onboarding, and annual performance reviews for non\-clinical staff.
2\. Operations \& IT
\- Maintain operational optimisation of GP software (HPM, phones, server , healthmail etc.).
\- Coordinate clinic schedules, doctor/nurse rotas, and patient triage workflows (flu clinics etc).
\- Manage facility maintenance, medical stock inventory, and equipment calibration.
3\. Governance \& Data Safety
\- Act as the Data Protection Officer (DPO) or lead point\-of\-contact for GDPR compliance (Folders in situ, annual review).
\- Keep the Practice Safety Statement up to date and manage patient feedback/complaints.
4\. GMS \& Claims Administration
\- Manage the GMS panels x 3, ensuring accurate monthly primary care (PCRS) submissions and troubleshooting claims issues.
\- Monitor all other public sources of income and reconcile, make submissions and troubleshooting claims issues.
\- Claim for annual leave, Study \& sick leave via PCRS annually to max capacity.
\- Claim for staff subsidies annually to max capacity
5\. Private Income \& Claims Administration
\- Manage private patient billing, producing monthly private income invoices for management accounts by consultation type by GP, including HPM income, Northdoc income, insurance income, and direct payments.
6\. Financial Management
\- Monitor practice cash flow, manage and plan for year\-end tax liabilities.
\- Coordinate with the external practice accountant.
\- Process monthly payroll
\- Manage supplier invoices and track clinic expenditure.
\- Reconcile all accounts
Pay: €35,000\.00\-€38,000\.00 per year
