Job Overview: We are looking for a PPM/Trainee Engineer operative with a mechanical/electrical/gas Engineering background to attend client sites across the country to carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) of commercial catering equipment. Ensuring equipment is performing correctly and is compliant with UK health, safety and environmental legislation. The work involved is of a physical nature, can involve working at heights using ladders or other access equipment, and involves working outdoors throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities: To attend client sites, wearing company branded clothing and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner To carry out the service of Commercial catering Equipment in accordance with agreed specifications To ensure equipment is left in a clean, tidy and secure state Reporting any defects to site manager and report via PDA system To report any issues of Health and Safety to the site manager and to Network’s Health and Safety Manager Accountability to Business Manager Accountable day\-to\-day to the relevant client contacts.
Experience Required:
- Full UK driving license
- Right to work in the UK
- Practical, hands\-on approach with a willingness to learn
- Comfortable using tools and carrying out physical work Willingness to travel 100% across your region as part of the role
- Previous experience of working in engineering or technical environments is highly advantageous
- Electrical Installations level 1 and 2 qualifications would be desirable
