At Pascal Technologies, our vision is to decarbonize maritime vessels through new solutions for energy efficiency and electrification/hybridization. We are now looking for more resources for our new and fast\-growing powertrain business.

We are now looking for two Power Systems Engineers to join our development team.

You will work with the power systems in our electric and hybrid propulsion systems, from system architecture and power distribution to integration, testing, and verification. We work with both hardware and software, covering system architecture, coding, PCB design, and wiring harness design, so you should enjoy cross\-disciplinary work. Your day\-to\-day may include hands\-on tasks, troubleshooting, testing, commissioning of new systems, as well as product development.

We are experiencing increased delivery pressure. Travel, both domestic and international, should be expected.

What you will be working on:

• Design and develop the power systems in our electric and hybrid propulsion systems, including power conversion, distribution, and energy management.


• Work with high\-voltage systems and ensure robust, reliable power delivery for demanding maritime environments.


• Contribute to system architecture and integration across power electronics, batteries, motors, control systems, mechanics, and software.


• Develop electrical system design, schematics, and cabling.


• Carry out selectivity analysis for our electrical systems.


• Carry out lab work, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and test reporting at both component and system level.


• Assess EMC, safety, thermal, and mechanical robustness across our power systems.


• Handle strategic sourcing and procurement and follow up suppliers.


• Follow up production, including outsourcing of production to external partners.


• Support commissioning, installation, and testing of systems at customer sites.


• Participate in ongoing projects across the organization.

Who we are looking for:

• Background in electrical engineering, power systems, energy technology, or equivalent.


• Experience with power systems and high\-voltage equipment for demanding applications.


• Experience with programs for drawing schematics such as Zuken E3\.series or similar.


• Understanding of power electronics, energy conversion, and system\-level integration.


• Comfortable working with physical systems and interested in hands\-on lab and test work.


• Bonus if you have experience with quality assurance, electric propulsion systems, batteries, electric motors, charging systems, or PLC programming!
